Whodunit Book Club – Wednesday, May 18th, 5pm

We need new members! Please join us in person or on Zoom. You don’t have to come to every meeting – just come to the ones that interest you. Or come to learn about some cozy mystery titles or to suggest your own. We’d love to have you!

The Whodunit Book Club meets the third Wednesday of each month at 5pm to discuss a cozy or near-cozy mystery; e.g., nothing too dark or violent. Contact beth@lopezlibrary.org for more information. We will meet both in-person at the library and via Zoom.

On May 18th, we will discuss Shady Hollow by Juneau Black.

The first book in the Shady Hollow series, in which we are introduced to the village of Shady Hollow, a place where woodland creatures live together in harmony—until a curmudgeonly toad turns up dead and the local reporter has to solve the case.

On June 15th, our book will be A Peculiar Combination by Ashley Weaver. Set in England during World War II, this mystery follows thief Electra McDonnell as she, caught red-handed, is forced to help a government official break into a safe and retrieve blueprints that will be critical to the British war effort before they fall into the wrong hands.
