Thursday, December 28th, 4pm – Islanders and “Indians”

Join Kwiaht director Russel Barsh for an intimate talk titled “Islanders and Indians: Our First 100 Years Together” in the library community room on Thursday, December 28th, at 4pm. Learn about how Coast Salish people of these islands became “pioneers”, how settlers became “Indians”, and why we don’t talk about them any longer. The room is expected to fill, so come early. Sponsored by Kwiaht and the Lopez Library.
