Never Too Old – Wednesday, November 2nd, 5pm

Never Too Old: a Young Adult Book Club for Adults meets the 1st WEDNESDAY of the month to enjoy the relevance and diversity of young adult and middle grade books and authors. All ages are welcome. Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 5th at 5pm. Email beth@lopezlibrary.org for more information.

November 2nd: A Snake Falls to Earth by Darcie Little Badger
“Fifteen-year-olds Nina and Oli come from different words–she is a Lipan Apache living in Texas and he is a cottonmouth from the Reflecting World–but their lives intersect when Oli journeys to Earth to find a cure for his ailing friend and they end up helping each other save their families. The author draws on traditional Lipan Apache storytelling structure to weave another unforgettable tale of monsters, magic, and family. It is not to be missed.”

We have 2 print copies of this book and it’s available on both Overdrive/Libby and Hoopla as an ebook and audiobook. This title is on the Big Library Read, a global book club. In addition to our Lopez Library discussion, those interested may participate in an online discussion group on November 10th.
