Welcome to the monthly installment of Reader Spotlight – in which we ask a library patron to tell us about their favorite books. During the month of July, we asked our summer youth interns to tell us about their favorite books! Hetty and Ren are in high school, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them on board. Hetty’s favorites include Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, Ash by Malinda Lo, Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, Warcross by Marie Lu, and The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Ren’s favorites include Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve, Guardians of Ga’Hoole and Wolves of the Beyond by Kathryn Lasky, Silverwing by Kenneth Oppel, and Warriors by Erin Hunter.
