A new partnership between Washington State Parks and the Washington State Library allows patrons to check out the great outdoors. You can reserve one of our two Check Out Washington passes (search by “Discover Pass”) just like a book or DVD and check it out for one week. The pass allows you to visit Washington State Parks (Lopez’s Spencer Spit State Park) and Washington Department of Natural Resources (Lopez’s Upright Channel Day Park) lands. It may also be used on San Juan Island, Orcas Island, and the mainland. For more information, visit the Check Out Washington website.
