August Reader Spotlight – Cheryl Harlan

Welcome to the monthly installment of Reader Spotlight – in which we ask a library patron to tell us about their favorite books. During the month of August, we feature Cheryl Harlan, who is the Lopez Library custodian and a teaching assistant at the Lopez School. She shares a selection of favorites with us: Tattoos on the Heart by Gregory Boyle, Operating Instructions by Anne Lamott, Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, The Dog Stars by Peter Heller, Martin Marten by Brian Doyle, Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Tehanu by Ursula K. Le Guin, and On Writing by Stephen King. Stop by the Reader Spotlight display in the library to borrow one of Cheryl’s favorites.
