Never Too Old: a Young Adult Book Club for Adults meets the 1st WEDNESDAY of the month to enjoy the wonders of young adult and middle grade books and authors. All ages are welcome. Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 2nd at 5pm. Email beth@lopezlibrary.org for more information.
March 2nd: Read one or more books by Francisco X. Stork, whose novels follow Latinx teens as they come of age. Here are just a few examples: Irises, The Memory of Light, Behind the Eyes, Marcelo in the Real World, The Last Summer of the Death Warriors, Disappeared, and its sequel, Illegal. Some of these titles are also available as e-resources on Overdrive/Libby.
