Never Too Old: a Young Adult Book Club for Adults meets the 1st WEDNESDAY of the month to enjoy the relevance and diversity of young adult and middle grade books and authors. All ages are welcome. Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 5th at 5pm. Email Beth@LopezLibrary.org for more information.
April 5th: Humor theme – Read any YA or Juvenile book with Humor as the main theme. See our Humor – YA & Juvenile booklist for suggestions. You may also come into the library and select a book from the Book Clubs shelf across from the front desk, or find many titles as ebooks or audiobooks on Libby and Hoopla.
May 3rd – Books by Renee Watson
“Renee Watson is a bestselling author, educator and community activist. Her fiction centers around the experiences of Black girls and women, and explores themes of home, identity, and the intersections of race, class, and gender.” Her titles include, but are not limited to: Piecing Me Together, Watch Us Rise (with Ellen Hagan), and Ways to Make Sunshine.
