Lyrical Libations, a poetry event in Vita’s garden on Sat, July 15, 2-5 pm is a collaborative event with Vita’s and the Lopez Library. In a wine tasting (like Vita’s offers frequently) a “flight” is defined as a series of small tastes of different wines. For this event, we will be offering poetic performances curated like a “flight” of poetry. In this way there will be a diverse weaving of types of poetry, readers, writers and performers.
We are accepting applications for poetic performances. Deadline for application: July 7, 2023. To apply to perform, please send us 1-3 written works and/or a video submission (3 minute maximum) of YOU reading work you hope to perform at this event. Each performer will have a maximum time limit of 3 minutes total for their performance.
Applicants are more than welcome to schedule a time to be recorded at the Lopez Library and we will help submit your work to the jury of folks curating this lovely afternoon!
