This summer join us for a family book club! We are partnering with local author Asia Citro, and reading the first few books of her beginning reader series, Zoey and Sassafras. With magical animals, science, mystery, and adventure, this series is fun for a wide range of readers, ages 4-10. Our club meetings will include a fun conversation about the book as well as a hands-on activity inspired by the books and recommended by the author! Each book club member will get a free, personalized copy of the book, generously donated and signed by Asia Citro. At the end of the summer, the club will meet with the author in person to ask her questions about the series.
The first meeting to discuss book 1: Dragons and Marshmallows will be on Tuesday, June 29th at 4pm.
