BOUNTY – Lopez Island Farmers, Food, and Community tells our local food story through beautiful photographs and intriguing profiles by Iris Graville about the dedicated people who grow our food. Twenty-eight Lopez Island farms are participating in this community funded three-year project sponsored by the Lopez Community Land Trust (LCLT) and Lopez Locavores. In 2014 local photographers Steve Horn, Summer Moon Scriver, and Robert S. Harrison documented the farmers, their land, and the food they produce. These stunning photographs premiered as a slideshow now available on the BOUNTY DVD with music by Stanley Greenthal. Photographs from the “Know Your Farmer” Photo Exhibit are available for a $300 donation which funds the project. In October 2016 we will release the book “BOUNTY – Lopez Island Farmers, Food, and Community” written by Iris Graville with a forward by Vicky Robin featuring the photographs and recipes created by Kim Bast.
