Up-Cycled Flower Pots on Saturday, May 25th at 2pm

Come to the Library at 2pm on May 25 to get inspired on how to use familiar items that often end up in the landfill or recycling to make beautiful and fun containers for plants and gardens.
Thanks to Oregon’s Realms School, there are 4 bins of adorable shoes ready to be given away and transformed into garden and porch ready planters!

We will also learn about how to transform a wine bottle into both a succulent container and drinking tumbler with one cut, with possibly a few free to participants as well! If you have great garden container up-cycle ideas or examples, bring your photos or actual containers to
share with the group.

This event is free and open to all, and will leave many free items for participants to take
home with them.

This event is part of 2019’s Year of Reuse partnership with Lopez Solid Waste Disposal District and the Lopez Library.

Please note: The wheelbarrow repair portion of this program has been postponed to a later date.
