I am on a theme I know … another rave, but beloved storyteller Patricia Polacco again brings her Ukrainian heritage alive in her newest book, A Sea of Gold. This is an intergenerational story of family love and the traditions of the Ukrainian people and her family community. So fitting for this time for a bit older listener and reader, from middle readers to adults.
As I contemplated this story, another newsletter popped up and I thought it was applicable to the theme. A colleague of mine, Maren Schmidt, has a fantastic website and webinar channel for parents with quick links on topics that give some great parenting tips, such as Teaching Your Children Values.
