Please join us on Thursday, October 24th at 6pm for an evening of poetry with local writers Andrew Robin and Maggie Mannell.
Andrew Robin will be reading from his new chapbook titled Letters, Unwritten, which has been awarded the Two Sylvias Press Poetry Chapbook Prize. Andrew is also the author of the poetry collections something has to happen next, which was awarded the Iowa Poetry Prize, good beast, a finalist for the Oregon Book Award, and Stray Birds, a finalist for the Washington State Book Award.
Maggie Mannell makes art in dis/concert with all of you and all of her selves. She makes a lot of mistakes and eats. She shares an island with the many and the few–for now–and she is trying in a world where trying takes an awful lot out of a soul. And love abounds. Words are her nemesis, singing roughly is her absolute. She admires her friends and misses her family.
