Have you missed our fall and winter bird neighbors: shorebirds, ducks, seabirds? I sure have. Join Beth St. George for Mindful Birding walks on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. We will walk in the Village and sometimes venture out to Fisherman Bay or Hummel Lake. Birding will be at a slow and mindful pace to truly enjoy and learn about our avian neighbors.
Binoculars of at least 7 x 35 size are most helpful. The library has 3 pair for checkout.
If the weather is inclement, we’ll meet in the library to share bird stories and discuss birding tips, apps, field guides, and more.
The next walks will be held on Tuesdays, November 19, December 3 & 17.
Outings are limited to 6 people to ensure a quality experience, so please sign up to reserve your spot.
