The board of directors of the Lopez Island Library currently has one vacant seat and is soliciting statements of interest for appointment to the board. The meetings are held monthly on the third Tuesday of the month, from 10-12.
They are expected to gain familiarity with current library policies and concerns, to attend and participate in monthly meetings, to read materials provided by the Library Director in preparation for those meetings, and to respond by email poll to time-sensitive issues that come up between meetings. This is a volunteer position.
Current members of the library board are: Bob Buchholz, Board President; Heike Deubner, trustee ; Constance Euerle, trustee, and Lea Ann Rolla, trustee.
