  • Producing the annual Lopez 4th of July Used Book Sale
  • Sharing information and selling merchandise at the Farmers Market booth
  • Raising funds through appeal letters to Lopezians
  • Holding year-round book sales at the ferry terminal, library and Lopez Bookshop
  • Creating special events to raise funds, such as concerts and screenings
  • Promoting awareness through an online newsletter, website and social media
  • Raising funds and visibility by creating and selling Library merchandise

The Friends are running a major fundraising campaign, Project Little Red, a $2 million, five-year campaign to make needed repairs and improvements to the library building.  They also spearhead fundraising efforts that support special library programs such as StoryTime, teen internships, access to Seattle Arts and Lectures, and book purchases.

The Friends are an incredible, all-volunteer organization that do amazing things for the library and community! Please fill out the form below and someone from the Friends will contact you. Thanks!
