Calling all artists! In line with the theme “Family Circus” for First Saturday Art Walk in July 2024, Lopez Library is curating a group showing of local artists with work that could lend itself to a circus theme. Please send 1-3 images of visual art work to submit, as well as a short artist biography to nikyta@lopezlibrary.org by June 5 to be considered for this show. Show will be installed July 5 and show opens for First Saturday Art Walk on Sat, July 6 with an opening reception and artists talks at 5 pm.
Works can be any media, no larger than 36″ x 36 ” and do not have to be framed. Examples include paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture, video installations, assemblage, collage, etc. Works do not have to be originals, but must have permission to be shown.
