Author Visit: Hilary Horder Hippely – Friday, October 11th

Join the Lopez Island Library and the Lopez Island Historical Society & Museum in welcoming Seattle-based author Hilary Horder Hippely for two exciting events based on her new book, Ballad of the Broom, illustrated by Hilary Moore.

“It’s the early 1900’s in the San Juan Islands, and a young girl unknowingly readies an old homestead cabin just in time to welcome a man jettisoned by smugglers.”
