Join us for a celebration of apple season on Saturday, October 10th! In Collaboration with the Lopez Gleaners, Taproot Kitchen and Kwiaht.
Community Apple Harvest with the Lopez Gleaners – 10am-12pm at the Lopez Library. Come help us pick the rest of the apples on our trees! We’ll use long fruit picker poles provided by the Lopez Gleaners. Bring a box to take some home, or join us later in the day for an apple sauceing and canning workshop at Taproot!
Canning 101 at Taproot with Madrona – 4-6pm at Taproot Kitchen with Madrona from Kwiaht. Come learn basic canning using our orchard apples! You’ll take home a canned apple product and leave with the ability to can your own things, at Taproot or at home!
