“No Country for Mothers”: Film & Discussion, Sep 8, 6-8pm, childcare provided

In partnership with Marta Gresham, the Lopez Library invites the community to a special screening of “No Country for Mothers,” a documentary exploring the realities of motherhood in America and the systems, or lack of them, that support families.

The film looks beyond labels and debates around motherhood to examine larger questions about work, caregiving, paid family leave, affordable childcare, and the structural challenges facing parents and families today.

A community discussion will follow the film.
**Childcare will be available during the event.**
