Daniel Millard has joined the library as Lopez’s new Community Alchemist! In this position, Daniel will work to expand and enhance the library’s program offerings to meet the needs of our community, and to explore the possibilities of creativity and learning in the library.
Since moving to Lopez in 2020, Daniel has become integrated into the artistic community and come to know the brightness and generosity with which the people of this island share their skills, insights, and hearts with their neighbors. They look forward to collaborating closely with the community, library volunteers, staff and board members to foster this generous spirit.
Daniel, a two-time Puzzlepalooza runner-up, is a steadfast believer in the value of play in the service of creativity, learning, and deepening relationships. They hope that their contributions will help to make the library, and the community as a whole, a playful and vibrant environment of exploration.
