The results of the Lopez Library 2016 survey were, as always, full of support for what our library provides, praise for the helpful and friendly library staff members, and chock full of ideas for what ELSE we could do for the community. In addition to providing useful input for collection additions and program suggestions, the library board and staff shared the findings with our community steering committee members to craft goals for our 2016-2020 long-range plan. Many thanks to the 173 who responded to our survey and the 30+ Lopezians who took part in our long-range planning events. Library staff member Sam Bernardi created a fantastic video detailing the evolution of the library to show how the library is changing to meet the needs of our island community.
